Getting started
- Browse - the file browser opens first. Grant access to a folder, then tap a picture.
- Panorama - tap the panorama button to surround yourself with a 360 image. Look left,
right, up or behind; tilt the image up to 90 degrees so you can lie back and look straight up.
- Dimming - the slider at the top of the panorama controls how much of the real room
shows through. At the far left the room is fully visible; at the far right the view is completely black.
- Spatial scene - in the photo window, tap Spatial scene to turn an ordinary
flat photo into a scene with real parallax, computed on device.
- Picture quality - exposure, contrast, saturation, noise reduction and sharpening are
applied with Core Image and never touch your original files.
- Recenter - long-press the Digital Crown to bring every window back in front of you.
Troubleshooting
- The panorama opens behind me. Stay still for a second when the immersive view opens; it aligns
to your head direction and re-checks itself for the first few seconds.
- The picture shimmers when I turn my head. Turn on texture mipmapping in Settings.
- A very large panorama is slow to open. Turn on MetalFX upscaling in Settings: the image is
decoded at half resolution and scaled back up on the GPU.
